The Story

Hi, I'm Brooke, the Founder and Director of True Hydration. My passion for creating skincare solutions began during my college days when I struggled with dry and irritated skin. It was during this time that my college sweetheart introduced me to pure Shea Butter, which miraculously provided relief like never before.
 
However, this discovery came with an unexpected challenge. The Shea Butter was causing stains on my bedding due to its greasy nature. Determined to find a solution, I embarked on a journey to create a unique blend of oils that would enhance absorption and eliminate any adverse reactions with my mattress lining.

Eager to harness the power of natural ingredients, I began my research, dedicating countless hours to studying the science behind skincare and the impact of the ingredients we apply to our bodies. It was during this process that I stumbled upon a fascinating fact - the skin's surface has the capacity to absorb up to 60% of what is applied to it when exposed to heat.

Drawing inspiration from my studies in Portuguese, I decided to incorporate the vibrant and nourishing Brazilian oils into my formulations. Countless hours of research and experimentation led me to develop a range of products that not only addressed my personal skincare concerns but also garnered immense positive feedback from those who tried them.
